Therapy for anxiety and stress
When anxiety takes hold, everyday life can start to feel like something to get through rather than to live. Racing thoughts, a knot in your stomach, trouble sleeping, or a sense of dread that won’t quite lift; it can be exhausting, and isolating.
Therapy offers a calm, steady space to understand what’s driving the anxiety, and to find ways of relating to it that leave you feeling more settled and more like yourself.
What anxiety can feel like
Anxiety shows up differently for everyone. You might recognise some of these, or none, and still find therapy helpful:
- Constant worry, or a mind that won’t switch off
- Feeling on edge, restless, or unable to relax
- Panic attacks, or a racing heart and tight chest
- Trouble sleeping, or waking with a sense of dread
- Avoiding people, places or situations
- Stress and burnout that’s spilling into everything
How I work with anxiety
We start by understanding your anxiety, not just the symptoms but what sits underneath them and what keeps them going. Anxiety usually makes sense once we can see the fuller picture.
From there we work at a pace that feels manageable, building practical ways to steady yourself alongside a deeper understanding of the patterns involved. My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to you.
The aim isn’t to get rid of every difficult feeling, but to help you feel less ruled by anxiety, and more able to live the life you want.
Where & how
In person in Bray, Co. Wicklow, or online by secure video across Ireland.
€80 per session (50 minutes), adults, usually weekly.
Common questions
Can therapy help with panic attacks?
Panic and anxiety are among the most common reasons people come to therapy. We work at your pace to understand what’s happening and find ways to feel more settled. I won’t promise a quick fix, but you don’t have to manage it on your own.
Do you offer anxiety therapy online?
Yes. Sessions are available online by secure video anywhere in Ireland, or in person in Bray, Co. Wicklow.
How much does a session cost?
€80 per 50-minute session, the same for in-person and online. Sessions are usually weekly, with no set number: we review together as we go.
