Therapy for loss and change

Loss comes in many forms: the death of someone you love, the end of a relationship, a change in health, or the quieter grief of a life that hasn’t turned out as you’d hoped. However it arrives, grief can be disorienting and lonely.

Therapy offers a gentle, unhurried space to feel what you feel, to remember, and to find your footing again, without any sense that you should be “over it” by now.

What grief and change can feel like

Grief doesn’t follow tidy stages. You might recognise some of these:

How I work with loss

There’s no right way to grieve, and no timeline. My role isn’t to move you through it, but to be alongside you as you find your own way, at your own pace.

Together we make room for whatever comes: the sadness, but also the memories, the meaning, and sometimes the relief or guilt that can be harder to speak aloud. Nothing is off limits here.

Over time, this work isn’t about leaving the loss behind, but about carrying it in a way that lets life open up again.

Where & how

In person in Bray, Co. Wicklow, or online by secure video across Ireland.

€80 per session (50 minutes), adults, usually weekly.

Common questions

Is there a right time to seek grief counselling?

There’s no right time and no timeline for grief. Some people come soon after a loss, others years later. Whenever it feels useful to talk, that’s the right time for you.

Do you support grief that isn’t a bereavement?

Yes. Loss takes many forms, the end of a relationship, a change in health, or a life that hasn’t turned out as hoped, and all of it is welcome here.

Can we meet online?

Yes. Sessions are available online by secure video anywhere in Ireland, or in person in Bray, Co. Wicklow. Both cost €80 per 50-minute session.
