Therapy for relationships and family

Our relationships shape us, and when they’re strained it can affect everything. Whether it’s difficulty in a partnership, tension within your family, or patterns that seem to repeat across relationships, therapy can help you understand what’s happening and what you’d like to be different.

I work with individuals rather than couples, which means this is a space focused on you: your experience, your part in the dynamics, and the changes that are within your reach.

What you might be bringing

People come to this work for all sorts of reasons. You might recognise some of these:

How I work with relationship difficulties

We look at your relationships with curiosity rather than blame, exploring the patterns you find yourself in and where they might have started. Often our early experiences shape how we connect now, sometimes in ways we’re not fully aware of.

Understanding attachment, and how you learned to relate, can be freeing. From there we work on communication, boundaries and self-understanding, so you can show up in relationships in ways that feel more true to you.

Because we work one to one, the focus stays on what you can understand and change, whatever the other people in your life choose to do.
